Results from Open Night!!

This Mug template I received from my sister, Di, who also got it from someone!!  It is a beautiful template and everyone seemed to really enjoy making it. Of course, they were then filled with lollies! They also had the added bonus of taking the template with them too!

This is a photo of some girls hard at work creating while others browse the catalogue and drink tea! Ahh, this is the life.... There was a showbag for each person filled with some goodies and freebies. We also had a raffle in which we raised $80 for the Queensland flood appeal!! Well done girls!!

I put up a display of some new products which were all very favourably received. The new rubons are just fantastic not only looking but in quality - simply beautiful. We now have quite a good selection of owls, which are always popular in scrapping and card making. In the new range there is also a great set of 3 cards using the new tree stamp. Very good techniques in these three cards in that 2 have hidden bookmarks. I'm doing this workshop first this year on Monday 7th during the day and on Friday 11th in the evening. If you're on my email list, you will have been informed!
I hope some of these pics have inspired you to get creating.
Have a great week.

Also, for those of you who haven't been contacted via email yet, I'm having an open night on Friday 28th Jan from 6.30pm to 9pm.
At the open night, I'll have some new products on display, plus some new workshops. I'll also have a stock table of things that I'm selling at greatly reduced prices- most of them pre-loved.
On top of that, everyone who comes to my open night, provided you've let me know, will also get a showbag of free stuff, special offers and time to play with some product and make some items.
It's going to be fun. So, if you're available and feel like a bit of you time creating and chatting, let me know and pop over.
Hope to see you soon!

Grade 6 Graduation invites....

At the end of last year I was asked to put together 40 invites for the Grade 6s. They chose the colour scheme and I worked with another parent who helped with the wording on the computer. The word Graduation 2010 was printed on vellum. I chose the theme of circles - like the circle of life idea. I used the retro circles CB folder for the purple bling background and then scalloped the green bling. The colourful card behind the wording is white card that has been blended using shabby shutters and dusty concord distress ink and a blending tool. I created a fake buckle using the circle punches. With the left over circles, I stuck them onto envelopes.
It was quite a rush, but luckily Jude was back by then and helped put them together!
Hope you have a great week.

Kris Kringle with Kaszazz consultants!

I created these to pop a small gift in for each of the consultants going to the Christmas lunch. All using SB essentials and foundations paper with various bling from the sticky bling.

This wallet was made using brown bazzill which I embossed with a CB die called mini mosaics. After that I inked the cardstock with distress ink and then embossed with clear embossing all over to give a leather look. The rest is really straight forward if you have the tutorial to follow which I did. Go to http://www.splitcoaststampers/ and search wallet, to see the tutorial. It's really cool and a lot easier than it looks. Anyway, this was what I gave my present in. We each had to create a container of sorts to house the present. It had to be Kaszazz products. It was lots of fun and everyone made such cool containers!

Sorry for the long wait between posts, I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas and New Year!
Now, I'm back.....
Hope this has inspired you. If you create a wallet too, can you email a pic to me so I can pop it on the blog?? That would inspire even more peeps.
Take care
Deb
